2nd Annual Chicks Beach Martini Classic 2007

The 2nd Annual Martini Classic 2007 went off beautifully! There were 15 judges who judged different martinis from 4 places in Chicks Beach. Martinis were Judged on Best Overall, Atmosphere and Presentation.

1st Place for Best Presentation went to the Green Parrot Grille
1st Place for Atmosphere went to HK on the Bay
1st Place Overall went to Alexander’s on the Bay
Zia Marie did not place in any category and scored a 10 out of possible 450.

Overall scores went as follows…
Zia Marie: 10
The Green Parrot Grille: 180
HK on the Bay: 194
Alexander’s on the Bay 231

Some comments written down on the judges sheet includes:

“Nice menu layout, they were ready for us. The Parrotini was presented great with layered colors” Green Parrot Grille.

“Not ready for us and crowded. Didn’t care about the classic. They had empty tables but would not allow us to use them” Zia Marie.

“Loved the bar and the view, very courteous staff” Alexander’s on the Bay.

“Great martini menu, they were ready for us and was the best presentation with the hardened chocolate and caramel among other flavors on the rims of the glasses, NICE TOUCH” Green Parrot Grille.

“Met at the door with special menus, best atmosphere overall” HK on the Bay.

“Great with a special menu for the night and even delivered straws for trading tastes with others, excellent idea” Green Parrot Grille.

“Bartender was really into his art. Loved the non-smoking, loved being greeted at the door with special menus for the night, Love this place! HK on the Bay

“Loved the wink from the bartender Jeremy” Alexander’s on the Bay.

“Awesome Place” Alexander’s on the Bay.

“Loved the view, was quiet and relaxing. Could have used some light background music but all in all the best overall place of the night”. Alexander’s on the Bay.

“The Mojitotini was the best drink I have ever ordered” HK on the Bay.

Don’t forget; every Tuesday night at the Green Parrot Grille Dahna Rowe and the Diablo’s perform. Great music with some originals and its not so loud you cant carry a conversation with your friends and family.
